How are the hard drives graded?
Drives are tested for SMART health, power on hours and reallocated sectors, then graded. The grade and the underlying test data are included on the manifest so you know exactly what you are buying.
Do you sell drives still in their caddies?
Yes. A lot of our stock comes out of decommissioned arrays and ships in the original caddies. Tell us whether you want caddies included and we will quote accordingly.
What quantities do you supply?
Typically 100 units upward, and regularly in the thousands. Larger requirements are usually better priced, so send the full quantity you need rather than a trial number.
Is data destruction certified?
Yes. Every drive is securely wiped and a certificate of data destruction is available on request.
