A Standing Outlet for ITADs and Recyclers
GTR Supply buys from ITADs, recyclers and refurbishers on a recurring basis rather than deal by deal. If you process hardware for a living, your problem is not finding a buyer for the clean, single model, fully tested pallet. That places itself. The problem is the rest: the untested material, the mixed pallets, the long tail of single part numbers, the chassis somebody already stripped, the switches whose licences will not transfer, and the lines that sit in the warehouse taking up rack space while the good stock turns over three times. That is the material this page is about. We buy servers, storage, networking, drives, memory, processors, graphics cards, laptops and desktops, working, untested or end of life, and we would rather see the same list from you every month than a one off.
Who this is for
ITADs, electronics recyclers, refurbishers, asset recovery firms and anybody else whose inbound flow is continuous rather than occasional. If you are clearing your own equipment once, the category pages will serve you better than this one.
The difference is not the hardware, it is the shape of the relationship. A one off seller wants a number and a collection date. A processor wants an outlet that is there next month, that takes the awkward material as well as the good, and that does not need the story explained again every time a pallet is ready.
GTR Supply buys the same categories continuously: servers, storage arrays, networking, drives, memory, processors, graphics cards, laptops and desktops. Because the demand is standing rather than opportunistic, a recurring list from a known counterpart is worth more of our attention than a cold one off enquiry, and it is faster for both sides once the format settles.
The material that is hard to place
This is the part worth reading. GTR Supply takes lots that a lot of buyers pass on, and the reasons are recorded rather than implied.
Drive lots with no test data at all are accepted. You do not need to have run anything, and you do not need to have separated the drives that look good from the ones that do not.
Stripped and bare server chassis are bought, not only complete nodes, so a chassis that somebody already went through is still a line on your list.
Switches whose licences cannot transfer to a new owner are bought. So are loose transceivers with no switch attached, including the assorted box that never gets sorted.
Locked and company enrolled laptops are bought without needing to be released first. Storage shelves are bought empty as well as populated. New sealed stock, used stock and customer returns are all normal.
One thing that is refused
Processors with bent pins are refused rather than discounted. A part with damaged contacts cannot be resold to anybody, so there is no honest number to put against it, and it is better said here than discovered when a tray is opened.
For a processor this is almost entirely a packing outcome rather than a service one. Parts that spent five years in a socket under a heatsink arrive perfect. Parts that spent five minutes poured loose into a box arrive with units that have to be pulled from the lot.
So processors want individual trays or clamshells, or at minimum antistatic bags with each part separated and nothing sliding around in transit. If you already handle it this way, nothing changes for you.
Everything else on your list is a valuation question rather than a refusal. Where a line is not something GTR Supply can be competitive on, you will get a straight answer rather than a low number.
How to send a recurring list
Send whatever your system already produces. A manifest export, an inventory report, or a spreadsheet you maintain by hand is all workable, and reformatting it for us is wasted effort.
What makes a list fast to price is the same for every category: the identifier, the quantity against it, and the condition. For drives, memory, processors, graphics cards and SSDs the identifier is the part number, and the count against each part number does most of the work. For servers, storage and networking it is the model, with the configuration or the shelf and port detail behind it.
Group rather than itemise. One line per part number with a count beats a row per unit, and it makes the shape of the lot visible.
Set a cadence that suits your operation, weekly or monthly, and send the same format each time. Once the format settles, valuations get quicker for both sides.
Data, paperwork and terms
Every drive is securely wiped and a certificate of data destruction is available on request. Switches and routers are reset to factory defaults, which clears stored configuration, logs and credentials.
Where your own downstream obligations require certificates against specific serial ranges, ask before the lot ships so they are produced against the correct range from the start rather than reconstructed afterwards. Where a client requires physical destruction rather than a wipe, that needs stating at enquiry, because it changes what the hardware is worth and what happens to it.
GTR Supply holds no named data destruction accreditation and does not claim one. What is offered is the secure wipe and the certificate on request, described exactly as it is.
Terms are agreed before collection and payment is prompt on verification, meaning confirmation that what arrived matches the list the valuation was based on. That is why an accurate manifest is worth the effort at your end.
Getting set up
There is no application process and no portal to register with. Send a current list to the purchasing desk named on this page, and you will be dealing with a person rather than a queue.
What helps on the first list is context that would otherwise take three exchanges to establish: the categories you handle regularly, the rough volume you turn over, how often you would want to send a list, and any material you are currently struggling to place. That last one is usually the most useful sentence in the email.
From there it is straightforward. You send lists, GTR Supply sends valuations, and the ones that work get collected.
Per category
What makes a line quotable.
Send whatever your system already produces rather than reformatting it for us. Where a line comes back with questions, it is almost always one of these fields that was missing.

Common questions
Trading with us, answered.
We already have a downstream buyer. Why add another?
Because a single outlet decides what your whole inbound flow is worth, and the lines it will not take become your storage problem rather than somebody's revenue.
Most ITADs and recyclers find the same pattern. The clean single model pallets place easily anywhere. What accumulates is the material that does not fit an existing outlet's appetite: untested drive lots, mixed pallets, stripped chassis, licence encumbered switches, a long tail of single part numbers. That is exactly the material GTR Supply is set up to take, and it is why a second standing outlet usually earns its place rather than duplicating the first.
There is also a practical benefit in having a second real number to compare against. Not to play one off against the other, but because a category that is quietly underpriced across a year is difficult to notice when only one buyer ever sees it.
Send a list and see where the numbers land.
Can we send the same list every month?
Yes, and that is the arrangement GTR Supply prefers. A recurring list in a settled format from a known counterpart is faster to value than a cold enquiry, and it gets faster still once the format is familiar.
Send whatever your system already produces rather than reformatting it for us. What matters is the identifier, the quantity against it and the condition. Part numbers with counts for drives, memory, processors, graphics cards and SSDs. Model with configuration for servers, storage and networking.
Pick a cadence that suits your operation. Weekly works if your volume justifies it, monthly is common, and lining it up with your own processing cycle is more useful than lining it up with a calendar.
Tell us if something on the list is time sensitive. Graphics cards in particular move faster than anything else we buy, and a line that needs a quick decision should say so.
Do you take the material we cannot place, or only the good lots?
Both, and the awkward material is the reason this page exists. GTR Supply takes drive lots with no test data at all, stripped and bare server chassis, switches whose licences cannot transfer, loose transceivers with no switch, locked and enrolled laptops, empty storage shelves, and mixed pallets nobody has sorted.
Untested is not a discount category to be explained away, it is normal. Testing is work that happens here, and a lot that has been picked through is often worth less than the same lot left intact, because the parts removed first are the ones carrying the value.
One genuine refusal exists: processors with bent pins. A part with damaged contacts cannot be resold to anybody, so there is no honest figure to offer for it.
Where a line is simply not something we can be competitive on, you will be told that plainly rather than given a low number and left to work out why.
What paperwork do you provide for our chain of custody?
Every drive is securely wiped and a certificate of data destruction is available on request. Switches and routers are reset to factory defaults, which clears stored configuration, logs and credentials from the units.
Ask for certificates before the lot ships rather than afterwards, so they are produced against the correct serial range from the start instead of being reconstructed later. If your own client contract requires physical destruction rather than a wipe, state it at enquiry, because it changes both what the hardware is worth and what happens to it.
GTR Supply holds no named data destruction accreditation and does not claim one. The wipe and the certificate are real and are described exactly as they are. If your downstream due diligence requires a specific accreditation, this is the point at which to check rather than after a lot has moved.
Terms are agreed before collection and payment is prompt on verification against the manifest.
You buy as well as sell.
We hold the same categories we buy. Send a part number and a quantity and you get a number back, not a catalogue.
